Frequently asked
The questions people ask first
Confidentiality, legality, and cost — in that order. If your question isn't here, ask on WhatsApp.
Is this really confidential?+
Yes. You do not need to share your name to receive guidance. We do not contact family, employers, insurance, or authorities. WhatsApp conversations are end-to-end encrypted and you can delete them at any time. Assessment answers are stored without identifying data unless you choose to share a WhatsApp number at the end.
Will my employer or the government find out?+
No. Our guidance sits outside of government reporting. Voluntary treatment through the pathways we work with is a private medical matter. We never share information without your explicit written consent.
What about my visa / job?+
Voluntary treatment sought through licensed private pathways does not routinely affect visa status or employment records. Your specific situation depends on your industry and employer — we walk through this with you before you commit to anything.
Is treatment in the UAE legal for what my loved one is using?+
The UAE has moved decisively toward a treatment-first approach for people who seek help voluntarily. Coming forward is very different from being caught. We don't give legal advice — we help you understand the current landscape and connect you with providers who work inside it.
How much does treatment cost?+
It ranges from around AED 3,000/month for outpatient programs in the UAE to AED 90,000+/month for luxury inpatient care. International options in Europe or Thailand run higher. Our cost guide breaks down honest ranges by tier.
Can we treat this at home?+
For some substances and mild patterns, outpatient care while living at home is appropriate. For others — heavy alcohol use, stimulants like Captagon, or long-standing patterns — an inpatient reset is much safer and much more likely to work. A clinician makes this call, not a website.
What if my loved one refuses to go?+
This is one of the most common questions we hear, and it is not the end. Change often comes after the third or fourth conversation, not the first. We help families prepare the conversation, handle the refusal, and keep the door open without losing themselves in the wait.
Do you offer treatment yourselves?+
No. We are an independent guidance service. We connect you to licensed treatment providers in the UAE and internationally. We do not prescribe medication, run programs, or provide clinical care ourselves.
How are you funded?+
We may receive a fee from the licensed treatment provider you choose to work with — the standard referral model globally. This fee never affects the price you pay or the guidance you receive. When there is no clinical or financial reason to prefer one center, we say so.
What if this is an emergency?+
If you or a loved one is in immediate danger — overdose, active suicidal thoughts, uncontrolled withdrawal — please call your local emergency services right away. We are a guidance service and are not equipped for emergency response.
Do you work in languages other than Arabic and English?+
Our team works in Arabic and English. We can connect you to international programs with therapists in other languages — French, Urdu, Farsi, Russian — when that fits your situation.
Can we start with a phone call instead of WhatsApp?+
Yes. Use the contact page to request an anonymous callback — we can call from a private number and you do not need to give a name.
